KaMoZo’s first therapeutics are ready for in vitro testing!
May 15, 2025
KaMoZo is currently in negotiations with five CRO service laboratories for in vitro testing of our first line of investigational compounds: KMZ-HN-01010, KMZ-HN-01070, KMZ-HN-01090, KMZ-HN-02010, KMZ-HN-02070, and KMZ-HN-02090. These compounds are being developed as intracellular anti-cancer therapeutics.
Our goal is to evaluate their efficacy in cell models of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), and colorectal cancer (CRC). The planned testing will encompass assessments of cytotoxicity and EC50 values, as well as their effects on cancer cell growth rate, viability, and induction of apoptosis.
Furthermore, we intend to analyze the compounds’ capacity to suppress the production of cancer-specific cytokines and chemokines, such as TNFα, IL-1, IL-6, IL-17, CCL2, CXCL1, CXCL8, and CXCL12.
Finally, we will examine protein levels in nuclear fractions to determine their ability to inhibit the nuclear import of oncogenic transcription factors, including NF-κB, STAT3, HIFs, Myc, NFIB, RUNX2, and Sp1.
June 11, 2025
Ichor Life Sciences, Inc., has been selected to analyze activity of our therapeutics in viability/proliferation/apoptosis assays using cell lines of cancer models including ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma, malignant melanoma, and non-small cell lung cancer.
